Marking the 7th year of La Prairie’s involvement with Art Basel, La Prairie partnered with award-winning designer Sabine Marcelis to create the Cobalt House – an immersive and sensorial design space where guests could enjoy bespoke skincare treatments. Phygital were proud to support this outstanding installation by creating a completely bespoke Vending Machine to give product samples to every guest that visited this unique space. From the use of materials to blend with the installation and brand, to the physical vending mechanism and control; every part of the unit was painstakingly developed from scratch. The unit itself was wonderful to look at, with high end materials and glass – a true art piece in its own right. The clever use of mirrors and lighting gave a surreal infinity effect for anyone looking into the machine.
